Let's keep our gentle giants safe, happy, and wagging!
To make sure every meet-up is a fun and safe experience for all our dogs (and humans), we kindly ask everyone to follow these simple meet-up rules / dog park etiquette:
🐾 Healthy Danes Only
Please make sure your dog is healthy, fully vaccinated, and current on flea/tick prevention.
💩 Scoop the Poop
We love a good Great Dane-sized gift—but let’s not leave a mess behind. Always clean up after your pup.
🚫 No Aggressive Dogs or Dogs in Heat
For everyone's safety, dogs displaying aggressive behavior—or females in heat—should not be brought to a meet-up.
📵 Put the Phone Down (Unless You're Taking Pics!)
Your #1 job at the meet-up is supervising your dog. Things can shift in seconds, so stay alert and engaged at all times.
🦴 Forget the Treats (or Bring Extras!)
Some dogs don’t love to share. Unless your Dane is truly generous, it’s best to leave prized treats at home—or bring enough to go around to prevent resource guarding.
👀 Read the Room
Learn to spot the signs: staring, crouching, frozen stances, raised hackles = time to step in or head home. Better safe than sorry!
❤️ Be Kind, Be Flexible
Every dog (and human!) has good and bad days. If something feels off, take a break. We’re all here for the same reason—big dogs, big hearts, and good vibes.
